Protective Clothing
Cut proof sleeves and mitts - TBA produces a range of para-aramid, meta-aramid and pre-ox felts for a range of protextive clothing applications. These felts are available in 100% form or in propritary blends. These cut proof sleeves are used extensively by automotive manufacturers throughout Europe.
Gloves and aprons - TBA's KC range of fabrics combine use of a glass filament core wrapped with an outer sheath of aramid fibre. The resulting composite structure allows short terms temperatures of 450C
Weld splash protection - The Glo-tex and OKC rangees have been specifically designed to maximise fire, heat and weld-splash protection. These fabrics are available as standard cloths or aluminised with TBA's highly reflective film.
Fire proximity suits - TBA's aramid and rayon aluminised fabrics are commonly used by industry in fire proximity suits. The fabrics have been tested to the highest EN stanards and are flexible and comfortable.
Abrasion protection - TBA's Fortamid aramid fabrics and non woven aramid felts cn be used as reinforcements in clothing to offer excellent abrasion protection.
Helmets, hoods and leg guards - The TBA Aluminised range is used widely by the protective clothing industry to manufacture helmets, hoods and leg guards.
Manhole Covers
TBA's boiler seal fabrics is a unique composite fabric combining the heat resistance properties of the base cloth made from Panox and aramid with wire for heat dissipation coated with unvulcanised rubber allowing a perfect seal to be made on installation.
Gaskets and Compensators
The KC range of fabrics has a composite structure that allows short terms temperatures of 450 C to be withstood. TBA's KC fabrics are available with a variety of coatings.
Composite Reinforcement
Many of TBA's woven and non woven fabrics can be used in composite reinforcements including the aramid range and GNU glass needlefelts.
